I'm a science and systems engineer with a passion for bugs. I believe that debugging is the best way to learn a new technology: not only do you have to figure out how to fix them, but you also really teach yourself why or why not a process works, eventually coming up with a solution you'll never forget.
I have over 6 years of experience working as an analyst, developer, and programmer on a range of projects, from leading a team in building a web ERP for a non-profit to programming scheduled tasks and building automated reports in order to prevent revenue loss for a telecommunications company.
Currently, I'm enrolled in a full-stack development program called Microverse where I've learned remote-first best practices and improved my programming skills as an HTML & CSS, Ruby on Rails, JS and React and Redux full-stack developer. I also volunteer as a mentor to junior developers also enrolled in the aforementioned program and work part-time as a Technical Support Engineer where I review Ruby projects.
